Senior Consultant / Account Director

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000
Location: Central London

An excellent opportunity has opened up to join this established and well respected strategic public affairs campaigns consultancy as a Senior Consultant / Account Director. You would be responsible for one of the company’s highest profile clients operating in a regulated and controversial market.

You will:

• Establish and nurture a strong working relationship with client representatives and develop and maintain an understanding of clients’ commercial and policy objectives.
• Help clients achieve their objectives through strategic political, policy and communications advice and the development of effective strategic public affairs programmes.
• Manage the client teams and ensure that the work programmes are delivered effectively and efficiently.
• Contribute to the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities – through existing client relationships or new prospects – both on your own initiative and as required as part of a wider team.
• Identify the development needs for more junior staff, and where appropriate assist in staff development.
  

You will have:

• A strong political allegiance demonstrated through active party membership, working for a political party or Parliamentarians.
• A background in public affairs and experience in delivering high profile campaigns.
• A good contact list in business and/or the political world.
