Interim Public Affairs Manager, Financial Services

Salary: c£50,000 pro rata
Location: Central London

High profile insurance business needs to recruit an Interim Public Affairs Manager to support on the development of public affairs strategy and a new function, ensuring the business plays a role in influencing the development of policy and legislation of interest to the company.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing insurance business and to play a key part in shaping the public affairs function and strategy. Working with the Head of Corporate Affairs within a wider communications team, you will help to develop public affairs policy and strategy, working with key contacts across the business to identify and develop the company's campaigning priorities and target audiences. As sole person responsible for managing public affairs activity, you will monitor public policy developments in the UK and EU, building and managing relationships with political stakeholders and developing key messages in support of business objectives.

A rare opportunity to shape a newly developed PA function, the suitable candidate for this role will have proven financial services public affairs expertise, gained either within an agency or in-house environment. You will be a self-starting team player, with the ability to hit the ground running within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
