Interim Policy and Campaigns Manager, NFP
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 pro rata
Location: Central London
A growing healthcare charity needs to recruit a policy and campaigning expert to join the busy campaigns team and oversee two Officer level staff. Reporting to the Head of Policy and Campaigns, the role will focus on ensuring the charity has the policy expertise to be a leading authority in this health area, and to drive forward innovative projects to maintain the Charity's influence.
The team provides expert policy advice to the Charity on healthcare, develops clear evidence-based policy positions on this disease area and campaigns to improve the quality and availability of care. You will lead on the development and execution of awareness raising campaigns and represent the charity to key stakeholders at external meetings, liaising with key civil servants, charities and healthcare professionals to influence policy and service development.
Suitable candidates will have proven campaigning expertise and experience of monitoring and influencing healthcare policy. You will demonstrate experience of line management, ideally gained within the NFP or healthcare space. This 6 month contract will start ASAP for at least 6 months.
