Geraldine Davies

Geraldine is a main board director and chairman of E&A and leads the E&A Search practice. She has spent 16 years in senior communication roles, including director of corporate communications for Lloyds TSB Group and director of corporate relations at Prudential Plc, where she was a member of the Group Executive Committee. In 2005 she joined the executive search profession as a partner at Whitehead Mann and then The Willis Partnership, specialising in board level appointments and senior communication assignments. Geraldine has an MA in Modern History from Oxford.

Harry Friend

Harry is a senior search consultant working in the London Search practice. He has over 10 years' Executive Search experience in Corporate Affairs and Marketing. Throughout his Search career, he has completed assignments for some of the largest global brands in the UK, Europe and the Middle East as well as for smaller niche businesses. Typical assignments include roles such as: Corporate Affairs Director, Global Head of Media Relations, Communications Director and Marketing Director. Harry joined E&A from VMA Group, where he was Head of Practice. Prior to this he worked for a global recruitment business. Harry is a languages graduate and speaks fluent Spanish and French.

Mark Dober

Mark is a director of E&A Brussels and part of the Search practice. He has over 20 years of experience in the practice of public affairs and public relations. He has been twice voted ‘European Consultant of the Year' by Jury for 'Public Affairs News', and also by members of ‘The European Public Affairs Directory'. He was APCO Worldwide's first employee in Europe and set up APCO's Brussels office in 1995, acting as Managing Director in various roles until September 2010 which involved recruiting many key positions around Europe. Prior to APCO, Mark joined the London office of Hill & Knowlton and left its Brussels office as Associate Director. He also served briefly with the Brigade of Gurkhas in the British Army. Mark has taught semesters for Masters in Strategic Communications at Brussels IHECS University, and has a Masters in Political Science from the PUC University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. He speaks English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Ella Milward Hamylton

Ella is Head of Research, responsible for the research function and all related activities, whether supporting the executive search process or ad hoc, bespoke projects for clients. She has over ten years' experience of executive research. The majority of her search career to date was spent at Whitehead Mann working for clients from the FTSE 350, supporting on assignments across Europe and Asia.  Her career began in New York City working for BritishAmerican Business Inc, helping to facilitate transatlantic business between multinationals and conducting customised research for clients. She is an Economics graduate from Leeds University.

Annabelle Wheeler

Annabelle is a researcher in E&A's in-house research team. Previously she worked for Wandsworth Conservatives as a campaign coordinator and Researcher on five different campaigns leading up to the May 2010 Election. Prior to this she worked in the City in various financial institutions as an HR Analyst delivering research projects, recruitment and event planning. She is a History of Art graduate from University of York and is vice chairman for Putney for Conservative Future.

Mark Field MP

Mark is a Board Advisor to Ellwood & Atfield. He has served as the Member of Parliament (Conservative) for the Cities of London & Westminster since 2001 and in Opposition held several frontbench posts including Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury and Shadow Minister for London. Currently he sits on the Intelligence & Security Committee, to which he was appointed by the Prime Minister in September 2010. He is also a frequent TV and radio commentator on financial services and economic issues.

After a brief career in the law as a corporate finance solicitor with Freshfields, he spent the seven years until his election to parliament as CEO of Kellyfield Consulting, a search and selection company specialising in legal recruitment in London and international markets.

Rachel Barlow

Rachel works in the Brussels office and conducts search assignments particularly for EU Public Affairs and Association Leadership positions. She has 15 years' experience with business associations as Vice President of Kellen Europe and Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Association Management. Rachel has been a board member of the European Society of Association Executives since 2007. She has taught interest representation courses at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Lille University (France), the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium) and is undertaking a PhD on the accountability of business associations. Rachel has an LLM in International Legal Cooperation (VUB). She is British, and speaks French and Italian.

Geraldine Hetherington

Geraldine has been a non-executive director of E&A since 2006. She has spent 16 years in the recruitment industry, including managing director of Legal and Finance Practice Recruitment at HW Group plc., projects director at TMP Worldwide, human resources director at Monster and TWP Worldwide, European HR director for Hudson Global Resources and finally as the first chief operating officer for Hudson in the UK. Geraldine qualified as a solicitor in 1991.
