E&A was founded by Gavin Ellwood who has worked within the world of political communications for many years. Before launching his own company Gavin was founder and Managing Director of the recruitment business Electus, now part of the Dod’s publishing group. Gavin has advised a diverse range of organisations on how to build communication teams and departments.

In 1999 Ben Atfield was a founding director of ePolitix.com.  Ben joined the main board of E&A in 2004. He has been involved in the world of communications and politics for many years and has spent over a decade working on senior level recruitment projects.
