Pro Bono

We are committed to using our industry contacts, recruitment expertise and communications knowledge to help organisations that would not otherwise have the funds to hire us to recruit extraordinary people who will make a real difference.

In the past E&A has donated to various charities, usually motivated by personal concerns. While our individual team members continue to support their chosen charities, as a company we have decided to provide our services pro bono to several NGOs and charities each year.

Ellwood & Atfield are delighted to be supporting the Speaker's Parliament Placements scheme - backed by the Speaker, and created by Rt Hon Hazel Blears MP, Eric Ollerenshaw MP and Jo Swinson MP. It is a cross-party initiative that will open up Parliamentary internships to people who have always wanted to work in politics but haven't had the opportunity.

Our first pro bono project was for Jeevika Trust, a UK-based NGO that supports rural projects across villages in India. E&A conducted a complete assignment including searching our database, advertising, several trips to India, and providing our offices for interviews. We are delighted to have helped in the recruitment of two communications professionals to work in Delhi for one year from February 2009 - 2010.

If you need our help and think you may qualify for our pro bono program please contact Ben Atfield. We can also offer informal advice to charities about how to hire and what to pay.
